Because we go around declaring LOVE & RESPECT each time like we own the line, only to have both get thrown out the window at a time when the situation demands it from us. And In this case, we need it now more than ever.
No wonder JYPE is finding it so easy to manipulate and influence the boys. It’s been so easy for them to break the fandom apart. It’s bad enough that they can’t depend on their own company, now the 7 of them don’t even have a solid fanbase to back them up. All because we thought it was about making a choice. It never was. I think we saw Jay and the 6 as two different entities. In our minds, we separated them, which, in turn, separated us.
Everyone take a deep breath, and let’s get our acts together now. What we should do is go back to the time when we were all fans of the complete 2PM, then make choices that will protect the 7’s bond. It may go against your initial stand, but for the sake of the boys, can we set aside our differences? With all these bits of information going around and the conference in a few hours, can we set aside the animosity and put the boys on top of our priority list? This might be the only chance we have left. We’re losing our focus here. The last time I checked, it was JYPE who has wronged Jay and the boys. Why are they getting away with it while we’re too busy on each others throats? Regardless of bias, fight for them all. Because when one 1 is suffering, what makes us think the rest aren’t too? I don’t know what being a HOTTEST truly means, but I’m pretty sure it includes recognizing the 2PM brotherhood. I believe with all my heart that the distance hasn’t shaken that in the very least. In times of doubt, or if you’ve lost every reason to fight, hold on to that.
So.. LOVE & RESPECT? How about towards each other?

If we go by your logic, then, what about Jay?
You people talk like it’s a choice between the two. Did it occur to you that the support Jay is getting at this very moment is a matter of urgency, seeing as he won’t be coming back to 2PM anymore? Are you absolutely sure we’ve completely abandoned the 6? And does it make you any better that you’re isolating fans the way you’re doing right now? Weren’t we supporting the same group of guys just a few months ago? Yeah, the very same people you’re so carelessly criticizing now. I’m sure you guys are feeling high and mighty for being true “HOTTESTS”. But I’m not so sure it’s a label I want to be associated with right now.
Just sayin’.
I was okay with the boycott because I figured since you left with the 6 boys’ sake in mind, that maybe they’d understand us and make a sacrifice too. Because I was pretty sure your brotherhood was much more meaningful than things like fame and money. I watched Hot Blood enough times to understand that the moment you got involved in this whole fiasco, your brothers were in it with you too. Surely, no one was expecting to get out of it unscathed. Not you, or the 6, or us. But I held on because I thought it was worth all the pain, you know? Because when you said, “Brothers, we got you”, I knew you meant it, and I believed they felt the same way too..
When people asked me, “How about the 6? They’d think you don’t care about them, that all you care about is Jaebum”, I’d try to picture it in my head- would Taec, your BFF, go, “Fans don’t care about us anymore because they’re boycotting to show JYPE that they want Jaebum back sadface”…or Junho, whom you’ve taken showers with, say, “Hottests have chosen Jay, I’m sad and hurt, how about us?”- and in all honesty…I couldn’t. You stepped into that plane with them in mind, because you didn’t want them to get hurt. And I imagined them going through the same thing- having your sake in mind above their own. Even JYP couldn’t deny the fact that you were the “pillar of strength”. Surely, at your moment of weakness, you knew that it was okay to fall, that it was alright to not be strong. Everyone you’ve been strong for after all this time, well, it was their turn to be strong for you, just that once, when you were down on your knees and couldn’t take no more. So when I thought of the 6, I could see them saying, “I hope Jaebum hyung is fine, I miss him, I want him back”, not “I wish Hottests would stop the boycott because it’s hurting my feelings.” Of course, people just automatically assumed that we made a choice. It’s not a big deal when non-2PM fans do the talking, but when it’s fellow Hottests who make such accusations, it’s just sad. Because I’m pretty sure we’re all supporting the same group of boys, regardless of bias. Apparently, if we supported you, we didn’t support the 6, not even considering the fact that we chose something greater, something that each and every single one of you were part of, something worth fighting for- your FRIENDSHIP.
Now it’s happening again. And all I can say is sorry. I’m sorry for putting so much faith in your FRIENDSHIP…
